The school, a brown-bricked structure dating back to the 1980s, holds decades of memories for generations of students who have passed through its halls. However, following the tragic incident earlier this year, both students and staff expressed a strong desire to see the building razed as a step towards healing and closure.
As the demolition kicks off, plans are in place for a temporary campus to accommodate students while a new school is in the works.
