Accompanying Trump during the move were deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, director of Oval Office operations Walt Nauta, and executive assistant Natalie Harp, who has recently found herself at the center of media attention in the U.S.
Natalie Harp, aged 35, serves as a special assistant and executive aide to the president, frequently accompanying him in the Oval Office and on his travels. She has been by Trump’s side since 2022, according to a profile by Fox News published shortly after Trump’s re-election. Senator John Barrasso described Harp as an essential support, always present and ready to relay messages to Trump.
Harp has established a mobile office that travels with Trump, equipped with a mobile printer to provide immediate access to articles. She first entered Trump’s circle in 2019 when, as a bone cancer survivor, she praised the president for a 2018 law supporting patient access to experimental treatments pre-approval.
In a recent campaign event, Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff made remarks suggesting that Trump is more interested in personal pursuits than fulfilling his duties, referencing White House renovations and Trump’s association with Harp and Air Force One.
Trump responded to Ossoff’s comments by dismissing him as a “Pee-wee Herman look-alike” and emphasizing the White House renovations being carried out. White House communications director Steven Cheung criticized Ossoff using strong language, labeling him as the biggest “loser” in politics.
