Another individual fell victim to a shooting incident involving ICE agents in Minneapolis, adding to the recent tragedies in the city. The government was prompt in attempting to shift blame onto Joe Biden for the events.
Reports emerged last night detailing a man who was shot in the leg by an ICE agent in the northern part of the city, shortly after the fatal shooting of Renee Good, a mother of three. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the shooting occurred after a man allegedly tried to evade a targeted traffic stop, crashed his vehicle, and fled on foot. The government claimed that two individuals then attacked the ICE agent with a snow shovel and broom handle, leading to the shooting of the man in the leg out of fear for the agent’s safety.
The DHS, overseen by Trump ally Kristi Noem, managed to shift blame to the former President, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, in an apparent effort to deflect responsibility for the unrest in the city.
In a statement released by the DHS following the incident, a direct link was made to Joe Biden, stating that the individual involved was an illegal alien released into the country by Biden in 2022. The mention of Biden’s name and ongoing efforts by Trump to implicate the former President, who has been out of politics for a year, have been met with criticism.
The Trump administration has also targeted the Democrat governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, and the Democrat mayor, Jacob Frey, following the recent shootings involving federal agents in Minneapolis. The DHS criticized the leadership of Governor Walz and Mayor Frey, accusing them of inciting resistance against ICE and federal law enforcement officers.
Mayor Frey condemned ICE, accusing the agency of causing chaos in Minnesota, as tensions rise with the influx of ICE agents into the city. Protests erupted after the death of Renee Good, with Trump and his supporters disparaging her and attempting to justify her killing.
The clashes between protesters and federal agents during the subsequent protests highlight the escalating tensions in the city, with blame being shifted towards Joe Biden instead of addressing the underlying issues.
