“Andrew Tate to Face Heavyweight Champion in Misfits Boxing Debut”

Published:

Andrew Tate is set to make his debut in Misfits Boxing later this year against the promotion’s heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor. Tate, aged 38, has a background in combat sports, particularly in kickboxing where he had a successful career as a four-time champion before retiring due to multiple eye injuries affecting his final fights.

The move to boxing has been hinted at by the controversial influencer over recent months, with potential opponents like Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr being considered. However, it has been confirmed that Tate will face DeMoor, the current 29-year-old heavyweight champion who defended his title against Natan Marcon in August.

Although Till will not be fighting Tate, the former UFC title challenger is expected to participate in the undercard with his opponent yet to be announced. The event, titled Misfits Mania, is scheduled for December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. While specific fight times are pending confirmation, the main card is likely to start around 6pm UK time, with Tate anticipated to enter the ring around 9pm UK time, coinciding with 1am in Dubai.

Broadcast details for the fight have not been disclosed, but it will not be aired on DAZN as with previous Misfits events. The fight will be on pay-per-view, and a new broadcaster will be chosen for the event. Additional fight matchups and the full card will be revealed closer to the event date.

In a statement, Andrew Tate expressed his ambitions in sports entertainment, positioning himself as the new CEO after claiming to have taken over KSI’s company due to past grievances.
