“Loch Ness Monster Sighting: Enthusiast Captures Mysterious ‘Neck’ Video”

Published:

A recent possible sighting of the Loch Ness Monster has surfaced after a dedicated enthusiast shared video footage revealing what looks like a “long anaconda type neck.”

Eoin O Faodhagain, a devoted Loch Ness Monster follower, was monitoring the Visit Inverness Loch Ness webcam when he spotted something unusual. At 2.39pm, he first noticed a “fast wake” about half a mile behind the Spirit of Loch Ness tourist boat.

Shortly after, Mr. O Faodhagain witnessed “a long thick neck” emerging from the water, which he described as “thick as a man’s thigh” and extending “over three to four feet out of the water.” The creature moved alongside the webcam at Shoreland Lodges before veering out of the camera’s view.

In an interview with the Daily Record, Mr. O Faodhagain stated: “When last viewed, it is high out of the water, as a high as a man, but you can see from the footage, it is neither man nor wildfowl, or seal or otter, what else could it be? Only Nessie, because I am at a loss trying to explain it as anything else.”

He further explained, “There is no bird that has a neck that thick and long, you can even see the shadow of it on the water, of how high and big in thickness it is. Seals do not swim with their necks up continuously for over a minute out of the water, and neither do otters.”

The Loch Ness Monster enthusiast noted that this recent sighting is reminiscent of one he witnessed earlier this year. Additionally, he shared images of another recent sighting from September, where he observed “two humps” together on the VILN Shoreland Lodges Webcam.

Mr. O Faodhagain disclosed that the September images were captured at 3.12pm on September 18, on a blustery and overcast day, contrasting the conditions of his latest sighting on October 14.

Describing the sighting, he mentioned, “One hump appeared first then the second one in total symmetry to the first one, on the right hand side of the web screen, and both humps moved to the left and disappeared. They were both a few feet up out of the choppy water, and had to be that to see them at all, a good distance out from the webcam.”

He added, “There was no other boat activity observed at the time of this sighting.” An upcoming Amazon documentary will feature an American woman on her quest to find the Loch Ness Monster, scheduled for release in December. The documentary, Expedition Scotland: The Search at Loch Ness and Loch Morar, will showcase Katy Elizabeth, 40, in her pursuit of Scotland’s most famous mythical creature. Viewers can also watch the Loch Ness Monster live via a webcam on the Visit Inverness Loch Ness website.
