“Three Charged in Brighton Beach Sexual Assault”

Three individuals have been accused in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a woman at Brighton Beach. Sussex Police responded to a report of the incident on the lower esplanade in Brighton around 5 am on October 4. Following the report, a thorough investigation was initiated, and the 33-year-old victim received support from specialized officers.

The suspects, Abdulla Ahmadi, 25, an Iranian national from Crewe, as well as Karin Al-Danasurt, 20, and Ibrahim Alshafe, 25, both Egyptian nationals from Horsham, were apprehended and charged with two counts of assault.

The accused have been detained in custody and are scheduled to appear at Brighton Magistrates Court later today. Detective Superintendent Andy Harbour praised the victim’s courage and ongoing support from specialized officers. Efforts to safeguard women and girls in the community will persist through dedicated partnership operations.
