A pediatrician, Ernesto Cesar Torres, has been sentenced to decades in prison for sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl in Frederick, Maryland, USA. Torres, 74, faced charges after a mother reported her daughter’s abuse during a pediatric exam in 2019. Investigations revealed a pattern of abuse dating back to 1980, with Torres blaming his victims and claiming “demonic entities” were involved.
The case came to light when the 11-year-old victim disclosed feeling uncomfortable during an exam, accusing Torres of inappropriate touching and kissing. Following the victim’s report, authorities identified 24 additional victims spanning nearly four decades.
