“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Volunteer with Children in LA”

Published:

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a rare public appearance with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The family visited Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles, a voluntary organization that provides meals for those in need. In a video shared by the Duchess of Sussex on Instagram, Archie and Lilibet were seen enjoying themselves while helping prepare food with other children.

During the visit, Harry and Meghan were captured baking cookies, slicing vegetables, and packing meals that would be delivered before Thanksgiving on November 27. Meghan was pictured smiling as she held hands with Lilibet, while Harry was busy packing food items into containers.

In a caption accompanying the video, Meghan wrote “Show up. Do Good,” reflecting the motto of the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA) is one of the non-profit organizations supported by Archewell, founded by Meghan and Harry in 2020 after stepping back as senior working royals.

The Archewell team, along with Prince Harry and Meghan, joined OBKLA to prepare and package meals for community members facing food insecurity. OBKLA is a community-run nonprofit kitchen that provides high-quality meals to those in need across Los Angeles, including schools, shelters, and senior centers.

The foundation’s commitment to serving communities locally and globally was emphasized in a message on their website. Harry and Meghan currently reside in a $30 million mansion in Montecito, California, with their children, Archie and Lilibet. Harry’s future travel plans to his homeland remain uncertain, with it being unlikely that he will spend Christmas with the Royal Family. His last visit to Britain was in September, where he had a brief meeting with King Charles at Clarence House.
