Luke Littler has made it clear that he has no intention of following his friend Angry Ginge into the jungle after the YouTuber’s recent victory in a reality TV competition around a campfire.
The darts champion, known as “The Nuke,” was quick to congratulate Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, for winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Despite this, Littler, who is set to defend his Professional Darts Corporation title at Alexandra Palace, firmly stated that he will not participate in the challenging bushtucker trials at any cost.
The 18-year-old from Warrington expressed his reluctance to partake in tasks such as consuming kangaroo anus or crocodile penis for the entertainment of hosts Ant and Dec. Littler emphasized that after observing the show, he has decided that he could not endure being far from home, eating such unappetizing items, and facing various challenges in the jungle.
Reflecting on the experience of watching the show, Littler shared with his girlfriend Faith that he was particularly deterred by the trials, especially those faced by rapper Aitch. He firmly stated that he would never consider participating in such trials, emphasizing that there is absolutely no chance he would subject himself to such an ordeal.
Meanwhile, Burtwistle, aged 24, emerged as the winner of the reality show, with Tom Read Wilson securing the runner-up position and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty coming in third place. During the final bushtucker trial, Angry Ginge faced nerve-wracking challenges like having snakes and critters placed on his head in a task known as the Helmet of Hell, while Read Wilson consumed unconventional foods like camel’s brain and pig’s vagina.
After celebrating his friend’s victory in Australia, Littler attended a football match between Manchester United and Wolves at Molineux, where he was spotted on TV cameras alongside Rick McGagh, the head of fan engagement at Manchester United. United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes, acknowledged Littler’s presence at the game by responding to his tweet about enjoying his first away day with a darts emoji.
