A British vacationer passed away following his check-in at a hotel, as neighbors reported hearing a loud noise. The 52-year-old man had recently arrived at Caye Caulker island in Belize and had checked into the Casa Vista Hotel. Within a day of his arrival, neighbors heard a loud thud coming from his room.

Upon investigating the noise, they discovered the man lying unconscious on the ground. He was swiftly taken to the Caye Caulker Health Center for medical attention. Despite medical efforts, the man tragically succumbed to his injuries later that same evening. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Officer Stacy Smith stated that on October 28, 2025, police officers visited the Caye Caulker Health Clinic after receiving a report of an unconscious male individual. The man was found to have sustained injuries that led to his demise. Witnesses in the vicinity mentioned hearing a sound before finding him on the ground, prompting them to rush him to the clinic for urgent care.

The cause of the man’s injuries remains unclear at this time. This incident follows the recent discovery of a deceased British man on the Mediterranean island of Malta.
