Prince Andrew’s “Birthright” Claim in Giuffre Memoir

Published:

Virginia Giuffre, in her upcoming posthumous autobiography, is set to reveal that Prince Andrew believed it was his “birthright” to engage in sexual activities with her, feeling entitled to do so. The memoir, titled ‘Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice’, co-authored with journalist Amy Wallace before Giuffre’s passing, is scheduled for release in the US on October 21. It will detail three instances where she was reportedly trafficked to have sexual encounters with the disgraced duke, as stated by sources.

According to The Sun, Giuffre is expected to recount an encounter where Andrew, in a clipped British accent, expressed gratitude after an alleged liaison when she was only 17. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate, is said to have commended Giuffre the morning after, praising her performance with the prince. The narrative will also shed light on Giuffre’s ordeal at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell, with the latter currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex-trafficking.

Describing her initial meeting with Andrew in 2001 at Maxwell’s residence, Giuffre reportedly felt like “Cinderella” due to the treatment she received. The book is speculated to claim that Andrew correctly estimated Giuffre’s age and even compared her to his younger daughters. Giuffre allegedly gifted Epstein a camera, leading to the infamous photograph with Andrew, taken on March 13, 2001. Subsequent encounters at a Mayfair nightclub are described, portraying Andrew as a clumsy dancer who perspired excessively.

The memoir is expected to reveal Maxwell’s instruction for Giuffre to treat Andrew as she did Epstein, resulting in intimate interactions where Andrew showed particular attention to her feet. Following one such episode, Andrew allegedly thanked her in his distinct British accent, with Epstein compensating Giuffre $15,000 (£12,000) for the encounter. Giuffre is noted to have remarked on Andrew’s entitled behavior, believing he considered engaging with her as his inherent privilege.

Despite receiving a reported settlement of £12 million from Andrew, Giuffre’s claims of sexual relations have been consistently denied by the prince. He previously stated in a Newsnight interview that he was at a restaurant during the alleged encounter and cast doubt on the authenticity of the photograph, citing a medical condition that prevents him from sweating.

Virginia Giuffre’s tragic death by suicide at her Australian farm in April was confirmed by her family. She had been living in North Perth with her husband and children before their reported separation. Her passing followed an Instagram post mentioning a severe car accident, although local authorities disputed the severity of the incident. Her family hailed her as a courageous advocate against sexual abuse, acknowledging the toll her experiences had taken on her.

Buckingham Palace has been contacted for a response regarding these revelations.
