Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in their channel lineup starting April 30. Sky has revamped its Cinema offerings by merging Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to streamline content, bringing all family-friendly films together in one place.
Despite the consolidation, viewers will not lose access to any content; all previous favorites like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will still be available on the unified channel. Sky assures customers that all content from the now-defunct Sky Cinema Animation will be accessible through Sky Cinema Family.
For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means that children will still have entertainment options during breaks from school.
Maintaining a user-friendly experience, Sky aims to provide a seamless transition for customers while enhancing their viewing options.
