Apple has recently unveiled the new iPhone 17e, offering significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device boasts a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, sturdy construction, and an impressive single-lens camera—£200 cheaper than the flagship iPhone model.
In a similar vein, Samsung has confirmed the launch of its latest models, the A57 and A37, starting at just £399. While these Samsung devices may not match the performance or innovative charging features of the iPhone 17e, they sport a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, providing smoother navigation and gaming experiences compared to the 60Hz display on the iPhone.
The Galaxy phones from Samsung also feature large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and a design that offers water and dust resistance rated at P68. Additionally, Samsung has incorporated various intelligent features into the A37 and A57, such as Google’s Circle to Search for quick web queries and advanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions.
Moreover, Samsung has introduced enhanced Voice Transcription capabilities in the Voice Recorder app, enabling users to transcribe call recordings, translate audio, and convert voicemail messages into text effortlessly. The company has also pledged long-term support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, committing to providing up to six generations of Android OS updates and security patches over six years.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). Color options for the Galaxy A57 5G include Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will be offered in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
