“Meghan Markle Opens Up About Life in Montecito”

Published:

It has been over five years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to step down from their roles as working members of the British Royal Family. Despite this, formalities from their royal days still seem to linger on certain occasions.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, appeared on the cover without makeup, sharing insights about her life in Montecito. She discussed various aspects of her life, including parenting, marriage, and navigating public scrutiny.

As a busy mother of two, Meghan is gearing up for a Christmas special on her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. The upcoming show, set to premiere on December 3, showcases Meghan embracing both old and new traditions while emphasizing the importance of connecting with loved ones.

During a meeting at a friend’s New York residence, writer Kaitlyn Greenidge observed a formal gesture reminiscent of royal customs. Meghan, 43, was announced as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” upon her arrival, despite being the only two individuals present in the house.

In her feature for Harper’s Bazaar, Kaitlyn recounted the announcement made by the house manager, emphasizing the formality of the situation. Meghan and Kaitlyn discussed a range of topics during their meeting, including Meghan’s surprise appearance at a fashion show in Paris and her aspirations to inspire her children through her various ventures.

Meghan shared personal anecdotes, such as her daughter Lilibet joining her during work meetings in her home office near the kitchen. She expressed her desire for her children to learn the value of courage and fearlessness from her example.

Earlier this year, Meghan introduced a line of jams as part of her As Ever collection, inspired by her childhood memories of making preserves with her grandmother. Her signature raspberry jam, priced at £6.50, reflects Meghan’s homemade recipe.

On her show, With Love, Meghan, she recounted her experiences harvesting berries and crafting small batches of jam in her kitchen, revealing that she even saved a jar as a gift for her mother.

The With Love, Meghan Christmas special will premiere on Netflix on December 3, offering viewers a glimpse into Meghan’s personal and professional life.
