“Virgin Media Offers £1/Day Netflix & High-Speed Broadband”

Published:

Virgin Media has introduced a special autumn promotion featuring a bundled package of Netflix and high-speed broadband for just £1 per day. This offer includes selected fibre broadband plans with speeds ranging from 500Mbps to an impressive 1,130Mbps. Customers who opt for these plans will receive a complimentary Netflix subscription, saving £143.76 over the 24-month contract period compared to the standard monthly fee of £5.99.

Virgin has discounted its fastest broadband packages to their most competitive prices ever, allowing customers to access speeds of 1,130Mbps for only £29.99 per month, which equates to approximately £1 per day. However, the company has not specified the end date for these offers.

In line with EE’s recent deal, Virgin has also reduced the prices of its lower-tier plans, with rates starting from £23.99 for 132Mbps. Notably, the lower-priced plans do not include a Netflix subscription.

To avoid duplicate charges, customers who already have a Netflix subscription and sign up with Virgin using the same email address will have their existing subscription paused. Additionally, there is no setup fee for Virgin’s broadband service, which typically costs £35. Virgin Media is currently offering a free Netflix subscription with its broadband plans starting at £27.99 per month.

Here are the broadband deals available in Virgin’s current sale:

– M125 Fibre Broadband: £23.99 per month
– M350 Fibre Broadband: £25.99 per month
– M500 + Netflix Fibre Broadband: £27.99 per month
– Gig1 + Netflix Fibre Broadband: £29.99 per month

Customers who sign up for the Gig1 + Netflix Fibre Broadband package will also receive Virgin’s WiFi guarantee at no extra cost, ensuring a minimum speed of 30Mbps in every room or a £100 bill credit. However, like many providers, Virgin increases prices annually, resulting in a £4 monthly rise every April. For instance, customers on the £29.99 tariff will pay £33.99 from April 2026 and £37.99 from April 2027. Despite this, Virgin’s offerings outshine Sky’s broadband pricing, as Sky’s 900Mbps Full Fibre Broadband package costs £40 per month, making it both slower and more expensive than Virgin’s equivalent offer.

Meanwhile, Hyperoptic is offering up to £300 to customers who switch to its broadband service, although this offer may not be available nationwide, so it’s advisable to check coverage on their website. For those sticking with Virgin, the company has garnered numerous positive reviews on Trustpilot.

Customers have praised Virgin for its reliable internet speeds, excellent customer service, and value for money. One satisfied customer mentioned the seamless installation process and friendly engineer, while another highlighted the consistent service quality and negotiated deals. However, some customers have noted improvements in customer service over the years but expressed concerns about price hikes.

Ultimately, Virgin Media’s current promotions offer competitive broadband packages with added value through free Netflix subscriptions, making them an attractive option for customers seeking high-speed internet services.
