“Two £1 Million Winners Announced in Premium Bonds Draw”

Published:

The latest Premium Bond results for November 2025 were unveiled today, revealing the fortunate recipients of two £1 million prizes. One of the winners, hailing from Shropshire, holds the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds, with the winning bond number 258GE105589 acquired in October 2015. The second £1 million winner resides in York, also owning £50,000 in Premium Bonds, and their winning bond number 568FY679677 was purchased in February 2024.

Premium Bonds, a savings product by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), offer a unique twist by entering participants into a monthly prize draw instead of providing a fixed interest rate. Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with the majority being smaller amounts. While winning is not guaranteed, the excitement of potential rewards keeps participants engaged.

The odds of winning a prize with Premium Bonds are 22,000 to 1 for each £1 bond, with two £1 million prizes and numerous £25 prizes up for grabs. Winners are notified via email or text by NS&I, allowing them to choose between receiving the prize money in their bank account or reinvesting in Premium Bonds. The NS&I online prize checker tool and the Premium Bonds prize checker app enable participants to quickly verify if they have won.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, expressed congratulations to the recent jackpot winners, emphasizing their newfound wealth as they embark on the festive season. Despite a slight decrease in larger prizes being awarded due to a reduction in the prize fund rate, the allure of the two £1 million prizes each month continues to attract over 23 million Premium Bonds holders.

Participants are encouraged to stay informed about their winnings and the latest updates through the NS&I online resources. The prize fund rate, currently at 3.60%, fluctuates periodically, influencing the distribution of prizes across different denominations. With millions of individuals participating in the Premium Bonds scheme, the excitement and anticipation of potential wins remain high within the community.
