Comparing negotiations with Trump and Biden, Zelensky highlighted Trump’s opportunity to end the conflict due to his perceived competence. Trump took a jab at Biden’s competency, suggesting a stark contrast between the two former presidents.
In a two-hour phone call, Trump agreed to meet Putin in Hungary, complicating matters due to EU airspace restrictions on Putin. Ahead of the meeting, Ukrainian officials hinted at offering an energy pact to sweeten the deal with the U.S.
