“Sky TV Announces Complimentary Disney+ Upgrade & More!”

Published:

Sky TV customers are in for a treat with a recent announcement of a complimentary upgrade to include full access to Disney+ subscription service. This additional benefit, valued at £5.99, is part of the new Sky Ultimate plan, granting subscribers access to a range of content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel at no extra cost.

But the enhancements don’t end there. Sky’s revamped package will soon introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu, further enriching the viewing experience. The integration across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures seamless access to Disney+ content through features like Continue Watching, search, and voice control.

Moreover, Sky Cinema subscribers will enjoy a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel as part of the package. For those not yet with Sky, the new Sky Ultimate package is open to all UK households starting at £24 per month. The plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, upcoming HBO Max Basic with Ads, access to Hayu, and over 130 Sky channels.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized that this update marks a significant enhancement by bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. Existing customers will benefit from the expanded lineup at no additional cost, while NOW Entertainment users will receive HBO Max within the app without extra charges.

Sky’s aim with these changes is to simplify streaming and offer viewers a more unified and integrated viewing experience.
