Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the upcoming CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an upgraded version of the original Freestyle projector released in 2022, boasting enhanced AI features, brighter visuals, and a wider range of entertainment choices.
A notable improvement in the Freestyle+ is its user-friendly setup process. Powered by Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, the projector can automatically adjust the picture for any environment, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This feature simplifies the viewing experience, allowing users to enjoy content hassle-free.
The AI OptiScreen technology introduces several intelligent functions to enhance image quality in various settings. These include 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortion on uneven surfaces, Real-time Focus for maintaining sharpness during movement, Screen Fit to match image size with compatible screens, and Wall Calibration to optimize image clarity based on surface characteristics.
With these advanced features, setting up the Freestyle+ becomes a seamless process, reducing typical projector installation challenges. Designed for portability, the Freestyle+ is equipped with a built-in speaker, supports Wi-Fi connectivity, and offers access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, described the Freestyle+ as a reflection of Samsung’s commitment to creating displays that adapt to people’s lifestyles. The combination of portability and intelligent AI optimization ensures a consistent, high-quality viewing experience anywhere.
Although pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is anticipated to hit stores in early 2026, providing consumers with a versatile and innovative entertainment solution.
