Despite medical efforts, Joseph’s condition worsened, leading to his demise on January 15. Suspicion arose when excess insulin was discovered in Joseph’s system, sparking inquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death.

With a history marked by suspicious deaths of partners, Hartsfield faced a first-degree murder charge in connection to Joseph’s demise. Despite vehement denials from her legal team, Hartsfield was found guilty in October and sentenced to life imprisonment, raising questions about her involvement in previous incidents.
