Georgia Hunter Bell, an Olympic bronze medalist in the 1500m, shared her expertise with aspiring athletes at Ealing Southall & Middlesex Athletics Club. Recently claiming the silver medal in the 800m world competition in Tokyo, she visited the club where she developed her skills as a young athlete.

During her visit, Hunter Bell led training sessions, engaged in a Q&A session, and emphasized the importance of bravery in competition. She advised athletes to take risks and highlighted the significance of discipline in areas such as sleep, hydration, and recovery for optimal performance.

Having left her cybersecurity job to pursue her athletic career, Hunter Bell encouraged young athletes to focus on their individual journeys and avoid comparisons. She emphasized that hard work and consistency are key to achieving success on the global stage.

Club members were thrilled by Hunter Bell’s visit, drawing parallels between her achievements and those of former Ealing athlete Dame Kelly Holmes. Reflecting on her impact, ESM membership manager Peter Flewitt lauded her accomplishments and the inspiration she provided to the next generation of athletes.
