Norris Cautious: McLaren Not Favorites for Las Vegas GP

Published:

British driver Lando Norris expressed his belief that McLaren is not likely to be the favorite at the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix. Norris, who recently secured consecutive victories in Brazil, enters the final triple-header of the season with a 24-point lead over teammate Oscar Piastri in the World Championship standings.

Despite his recent success, Norris remains cautious about the upcoming race in Las Vegas. He pointed out his early crash at the circuit’s first event in 2023 and emphasized the challenge of competing against top drivers like Max Verstappen.

During a post-race press conference in Sao Paulo, Norris disputed McLaren’s status as race favorites for the upcoming event. He defended his opinion when challenged by a reporter, stating his commitment to honesty in his assessments of the team’s performance.

Additionally, Sky has enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle by adding HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+, and Hayu, along with 135 channels and comprehensive coverage of Formula 1. This package offers viewers access to a wide range of entertainment options, including live coverage of Formula 1 events and other sports like Premier League, EFL, darts, and golf.

Norris emphasized the importance of honesty in his assessments, acknowledging that McLaren has faced challenges at the Las Vegas circuit in the past. He maintained his reservations about the team’s prospects for the upcoming race, emphasizing the need for realistic expectations rather than overconfidence.
