“Hamilton Disapproves of Horner-Ferrari Rumors, Supports Vasseur”

Published:

Lewis Hamilton has expressed his disapproval of rumors suggesting Christian Horner might move to Ferrari, stating that such speculation is not beneficial for the team’s performance improvement efforts. Hamilton is dedicated to helping Ferrari regain its winning form after a challenging season following his switch from Mercedes.

Previously, Hamilton publicly supported Frederic Vasseur, who recently secured a multi-year deal with Ferrari. Recent media reports have hinted at Horner’s availability for 2026 after his departure from Red Bull.

In response to the rumors, Hamilton emphasized the importance of continuity for the team’s progress, highlighting the distraction caused by such speculations. He praised Ferrari’s decision to stick with Vasseur and acknowledged the team’s hard work towards future success despite external distractions.

Hamilton, currently placed sixth in the drivers’ championship, is yet to achieve a podium finish for Ferrari. Failing to secure a top-three finish in Austin this weekend would mark a record for the most races without a podium for a Ferrari driver at the start of their tenure with the team.
