“Flight Delayed: Woman’s Altercation Leads to Chaos”

Published:

A major flight delay was caused by a woman who engaged in a heated altercation in the departure lounge and insisted on sitting next to her partner. The incident occurred on November 2, leading to a delay of one hour and 40 minutes as the couple prepared to board the aircraft.

Allegedly, the woman and her boyfriend had a public dispute, with accusations of infidelity and inappropriate behavior. The woman claimed her partner had sexually assaulted her multiple times and even stated she had medical evidence to support her claims. Despite these issues, when they finally boarded the Airbus A320 flight UO559 from Da Nang to Hong Kong, they were seated apart.

Upon realizing this seating arrangement, the woman became increasingly agitated and demanded to be relocated next to her partner. However, flight attendants explained that seat assignments were fixed, prompting a further outburst from the woman. Video footage captured her arguing with crew members, causing a commotion among other passengers.

The situation escalated when the woman allegedly pushed a flight attendant, leading to intervention by other crew members. After a warning that she would not be permitted to continue the flight if her behavior persisted, the woman reportedly pushed the flight attendant again. Subsequently, the couple was escorted off the plane, allowing it to finally depart.

The flight, operated by HK Express, arrived at Hong Kong International Airport approximately 71 minutes behind schedule, touching down around 10:36pm. HK Express, a renowned low-cost airline based in Hong Kong, is known for its affordable fares and extensive network of short-haul routes across Asia.
