Thousands of emails related to Epstein have been disclosed by U.S. lawmakers, shedding light on Donald Trump’s connections. The House Oversight Committee received 20,000 pages of documents from Epstein’s estate, revealing various interactions. Among them, an email from Epstein to Ghislaine Maxwell in 2011 mentioned Trump as a significant figure who had spent time at Epstein’s residence.
The emails also highlighted Epstein’s communication with author Michael Wolff in 2019, suggesting Trump’s awareness of certain matters. In response, Trump criticized the release of the emails, accusing Democrats of using them to divert attention from other issues. Trump has consistently denied any involvement in Epstein’s illegal activities, emphasizing their estranged relationship prior to Epstein’s death.
Further revelations from the emails included references to Virginia Giuffre’s presence at Epstein’s home with Trump. The White House clarified that Giuffre had exonerated Trump from any wrongdoing. Additionally, the emails mentioned interactions involving Prince Andrew and Peter Mandelson, showcasing the breadth of individuals implicated in the Epstein scandal.
