A devoted Manchester City supporter, Hatton had strong ties to football beyond the stadium. He and Gascoigne, the former England footballer, had a close friendship developed during a speaking tour, where they bonded over their shared traits.
Gascoigne reminisced about their time together, recalling Hatton’s generosity and humor. He shared anecdotes of their interactions, highlighting Hatton’s jovial nature and willingness to engage with others.
