F1 sensation Oliver Bearman has brushed off speculation connecting him with Ferrari as the woes continue for Lewis Hamilton this season. The seven-time world champion has faced a turbulent time with the renowned team, culminating in a non-finish at the recent Brazilian Grand Prix.

Hamilton hit a low point in Las Vegas, qualifying at the back of the grid, marking the first instance a Ferrari has done so since 2009. This has fueled rumors about Hamilton’s future, especially as rookie Haas driver Oliver Bearman impresses in his debut season.

Despite the talk surrounding both drivers, Bearman has shown respect for Hamilton and urged for calm among those pushing for him to join Ferrari. Bearman achieved his career-best F1 result by securing fourth place at the Mexico City Grand Prix and followed it up with a sixth-place finish in Brazil, placing him 11th in the drivers’ standings.

Asked about his potential future with Ferrari, Bearman gave a straightforward response, acknowledging the media hype but staying focused on delivering good results for his team. He described his success in Mexico as fortunate and emphasized the goal to continue scoring points in the upcoming races.

There have been growing calls for Bearman to secure a drive with Ferrari, with former world champion Jacques Villeneuve asserting that Bearman belongs in the top tier. Paddock legend Kravitz also weighed in, suggesting Bearman could eventually replace Hamilton at Ferrari.

Former Haas team boss Guenther Steiner echoed this sentiment, praising Bearman’s performance and hinting that he could soon replace Hamilton. Steiner highlighted Bearman’s consistent driving and predicted that if Ferrari doesn’t offer him a seat, other top teams will be eager to recruit him.

Hamilton’s struggles at Ferrari contrast with Leclerc’s success, putting pressure on the British driver. The next challenge for both Hamilton and Bearman is the Las Vegas Grand Prix, set to commence at 4 am on Sunday for UK viewers.
