“Shocking Video Emerges: Priest Caught Shirtless with Parishioner’s Fiancée”

Published:

Shocking video footage shared on social media depicts a priest without a shirt in the company of a parishioner’s fiancée on church premises. Father Luciano Braga Simplício, in charge of the Nossa Senhora Aparecida Parish in Nova Maringá, Brazil, was discovered in a state of undress with a member of his congregation. The incident, captured on video, has sparked widespread sharing on social platforms, though the priest has yet to address the situation publicly.

The family of the bride-to-be has not issued any statements regarding the incident. The video shows the groom forcibly entering the bedroom and bathroom after Simplício refused to open the door. Inside, the bride is found in tears under the bathroom sink. The Diocese of Diamantino (MT), responsible for the parish, has announced an investigation into the priest’s behavior.

A statement released by the Diocese stated that they are taking necessary canonical actions for the well-being of the Church and its members. They have requested understanding and prayers from the public. Additionally, an audio recording has surfaced online where Simplício explains that the woman sought permission to change clothes and shower after her morning work at the church.

In a separate incident in July, it was revealed that a former priest from a “cult church” had sexually assaulted numerous female congregants. Christopher Brain, the leader of the Nine O’Clock Service (NOS) evangelical movement in Sheffield, has been accused of multiple counts of assault and rape against various women within the congregation. The prosecution described the NOS group as appearing progressive to outsiders but revealed it was a controlled environment where Brain exploited his position to harm women.
