Tesco’s latest offer for Clubcard members this December includes earning two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion, available throughout the month, covers all third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores.
Notably, the double points apply to any gift card bought at Tesco, not limited to Tesco’s own gift cards. The bonus points will be added automatically to the Clubcard account upon purchase.
Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the appeal of this promotion for finding the ideal Christmas gift. With the incentive of two points per £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful gifts while receiving rewards for themselves.
Tesco boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various transactions, such as grocery shopping, fuel purchases, Tesco Mobile usage, Tesco credit card spending, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card transactions. Accumulating at least 150 points allows members to redeem a £1.50 Clubcard voucher for use at Tesco.
The offer coincides with bargain hunter Jordon Cox’s revelation of a “secret code” at Tesco that indicates when a deal is about to expire. Cox, known as the Coupon King, shared tips on deciphering expiration dates of Clubcard Price promotions through unique six-digit numbers on qualifying items.
By leveraging this code, shoppers can plan purchases around deal expirations, ensuring savings on regular purchases. Cox’s advice aims to empower consumers to make informed decisions and optimize their shopping experience.
