“JFK Granddaughter Reveals Terminal Cancer Battle”

Published:

Tatiana Schlossberg, the granddaughter of John F. Kennedy, has disclosed a heartbreaking revelation about her health. She shared that she has been diagnosed with terminal blood cancer, specifically myeloid leukemia, just hours after giving birth to her daughter last year. In a poignant piece for the New Yorker magazine coinciding with the anniversary of JFK’s assassination, Tatiana revealed that her doctor discovered the abnormal white blood cell count that led to her diagnosis in May 2024.

Despite considering herself one of the healthiest individuals she knew with no prior symptoms, Tatiana underwent various treatments including two bone-marrow transplants, chemotherapy, and blood transfusions. She joined a clinical trial for CAR-T-cell therapy in early 2025, but devastatingly, she was informed she has less than a year to live.

Expressing her deep sorrow over the impact her illness has had on her family, Tatiana lamented feeling guilty for adding another tragedy to her mother’s life. She criticized her second cousin, RFK Jr., for cutting cancer funding and promoting vaccine skepticism, labeling his actions as embarrassing and detrimental to the healthcare system.

The infamous “Kennedy Curse,” associated with a series of tragic events affecting members of the prominent Kennedy family, has long been a topic of speculation. From the assassination of JFK in 1963 to the untimely deaths of Robert Kennedy and other family members, the family has endured significant misfortune over the years. Tatiana’s own battle with cancer adds another chapter to the family’s tragic history, highlighting the ongoing struggles faced by the Kennedys.
