Tina was rushed to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where medical professionals treated her severe injuries. Wood, discovered by police under the Redheugh Bridge, possibly attempted suicide. After enduring numerous surgeries during a six-week hospital stay, Tina continues to grapple with the physical and psychological aftermath of the assault.
