“David Lammy Exposes Putin-Farage Alliance to Divide Europe”

Published:

Vladimir Putin is alleged by David Lammy to support Nigel Farage and his right-wing populist associates to sow discord in Europe. Lammy criticized Reform UK, pointing out the conviction of their former Welsh leader, Nathan Gill, for accepting funds from the Kremlin. Lammy, speaking at a socialist conference in Amsterdam, emphasized the Kremlin’s history of backing groups aiming to undermine European unity.

He voiced concerns about the international populist right network, connecting Farage to various right-wing personalities worldwide. Lammy highlighted the efficient coordination among these figures, such as Martin Sellner, Tommy Robinson, Steve Bannon, Marine Le Pen, and others, stressing the impact of their collaboration.

Lammy acknowledged the public’s search for change and the political volatility it brings. He vowed to resist Farage and similar figures, asserting that their divisive tactics would not prevail in elections across Europe. Farage defended himself against accusations of being soft on Russia, advocating for measures to support Ukraine and confront Russian aggression.

In efforts to dispel doubts about his commitment to national security, Farage endorsed aggressive actions against Russian provocations and proposed using frozen Russian assets to aid Ukraine.
