A British individual has emerged as the fourth winner from the United Kingdom to claim the EuroMillions jackpot, securing a prize of £25 million.
In a recent draw, another Brit successfully grabbed £26 million, while a third player celebrated a £65 million win on Valentine’s Day. The fourth fortunate winner scooped an impressive £83 million in January.
To collect the EuroMillions jackpot, winners must provide their tickets displaying the matching numbers selected between one and 50, along with two additional Lucky Star numbers chosen from one to 12.
Andy Carter, a senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, expressed excitement, stating, “What an exhilarating night for EuroMillions players, with a sole UK ticket-holder landing the incredible £25 million jackpot!
“This marks the second UK EuroMillions jackpot win within a week, following another lucky player’s remarkable £26 million win in the previous Friday’s draw (3 October).”
The jackpot is paid out as a tax-free lump sum, and winners are provided with a dedicated team of advisors from Allwyn to offer emotional, financial, and practical support post-winning.
For UK players, it is advised to check their tickets for the winning numbers: 06, 07, 17, 20, and 21, with the Lucky Star numbers 01 and 10.
In a previous instance, Paul Harvey, a fortunate Lotto winner, shared his experience of revealing his newfound millionaire status to his son after a week of being unaware of his win.
Paul, a single father who recently battled bowel cancer, plans to treat his family to a holiday in Greece after winning £1 million from the EuroMillions, but first, he needs to arrange passports for his children.
