Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime, ranked fourth globally, leads the Canadian team for the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City. Tennis Canada has announced that he will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, positioned 12th in the tournament, is set to face off against France, ranked sixth, in a best-of-five match at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers last February, Canada secured a 3-2 victory against Brazil, while France advanced by defeating Slovakia with a 3-1 score.
