“Filming in Progress: ‘Heated Rivalry’ Crew Requests Privacy”

Published:

Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: Smoothies at Straw + Berry are off-limits for now. The cast and crew are currently filming Season 2 and need space to work. Director Jacob Tierney kindly requested fans to respect their privacy during this time, as shared on the show’s official Instagram account.

Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is primarily being filmed in Toronto and Montreal, with possible return visits to familiar locations in Hamilton, Ontario. Fans have been eager to spot the show’s stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who were recently seen together in downtown Toronto. Williams caused a stir by carrying a Canadian Tire reusable bag, sparking shopping frenzies.

The queer hockey romance, which premiered in late 2025, quickly gained a global fan base for Williams and Storrie. The actors have been managing their public presence carefully, setting boundaries with fans and paparazzi. Recent incidents include Storrie declining photos in Toronto and Williams facing alleged autograph-sellers in Paris.

In Toronto, another high-profile project stirring attention is Sarah Polley’s movie adaptation of “The Bell Jar,” featuring pop star Billie Eilish. Despite efforts for a closed set, photos have surfaced on social media, some seemingly taken by paparazzi and others by fans. Unlike “Heated Rivalry,” there has been no public plea from the director or official accounts for space.
