Avisha Tewani entered the industry in 2020, transitioning from a freelance stylist to a successful hand model. Her hands have graced campaigns for renowned brands such as Dior, Chanel, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Absolut Vodka, and Kylie Cosmetics.
To maintain her hands’ pristine condition, Avisha has made significant lifestyle adjustments. She gave up cycling and now wears gloves while doing household tasks. Despite earning between $300 to $3,000 per day, Avisha has expanded her modeling portfolio to include her legs, feet, ears, and neck.
Avisha’s career skyrocketed after signing with an agent in August 2020. She collaborates with multiple agents specializing in different body parts. The demanding nature of the job requires long hours on set, ranging from two to 12 hours, with crews varying in size from five to 35 members.
Preparation for shoots involves meticulous hand care, including tailored manicures to suit the client’s preferences. Earnings fluctuate depending on the client’s requirements, with potential additional fees for usage rights. Avisha notes the industry’s increasing demand for a diverse range of skin tones, which has positively impacted her opportunities in the field.
